I feel like it is a well written story for children. The story is mainly talked about how an animal created earth.

My opinion of Richard Cory is that many people saw the glory and wealth about him, that they didn’t  realize his difficulties throughout life. I believe that Richard took away his own life because of all the people who underestimated his feelings with money. The author is trying to explain that human beings should not look at people advantages.
