I asked my family about my big question. They gave me different lectures to think about. The ending of brave new world was kind of disturbing when John started whipping himself.

My big question is, why does the United States have health insurance?  Over the break I asked different people on their opinion about health insurance. My brother educated me that the United States have it because majority of people who have health insurance are wealthy and the U.S. keeps the money to probably pay off debt. I honestly don’t see any connection with what I read in this course. I am currently looking at websites with pros and cons.

April 18

I will ask different people on the reasons why the United States have health insured for only certain persons. I will remember doing my big question  by doing it today or either tomorrow.

April 17

I say when you had enough of interacting with people, it is best to keep quiet. Keeping quiet and knowing what to do is the absolute best because no one is bothering your space of thinking. It is best to speak up when you feel lost or confused.

April 16

John is upset that his mom called him Pope. This scene relates to the theme of family by having a major feeling of sadness and terror when someone in your family passed away. His own mom died in front of him. The children were there to basically bully Linda. They were calling disgusting names. Also because John was beating them up. Mostly because the children are dying.There respond was that death is scary.

Why does United States have health insurance on certain amount of people?
-Canada and France do but pay for health insurance

April 15

Many people dislike tax day. Some people probably do not like this day because people love their own money and do not like giving back. Others say it’s because they do not know where exactly their own money is going towards to. They think that their money is better safe with them than the government having control over it.

April 12

The month April personality would be joyful. I say it’s joyful because students have a week off for spring break. The sun is coming out and the weather is mostly sunny. Kids and parents are happier. It is literally 2 months before summer.

April 10

Many people like brain teasers because they love to think of various options what the answers might be. I personally don’t like brain teasers because my head starts throbbing. Like I will think about it for a second and then I will get frustrated. I need to know the answer.

April 8

So today I turned in my history project. It was about the timeline of the Cold War. I love history, so I took things into my own hands. Instead of using a crappy paper, I used part of a cardboard box. I drew all the images on it, spelled out Cold War: timeline with stickers, & put in the information in order. I was so excited and happy doing this project. Honestly I rather do a history project than a chemistry one. The excitement is not there when I do other projects.

April 5

A relationship that I have damaged was my mom and I. Growing up we had never seen eye to eye on things. As a kid I was an energetic, joyful, and had a temper. My mom would always say rude comments about me and I would respond back. Fixing our relationship was hard and still is. Since 8 grade til now, our relationship  turned into a friendship and I couldn’t be more grateful. What made us closer was me getting my grades together, getting my confirmation done, and also realizing the love we both have. She’s my mom and I’m her daughter, our lives wouldn’t be the same if one of us wasn’t here. Right now our relationship is more than perfect. We don’t argue any more .

Book Club of One

It helps a lot when you speak to a person who is interested on the same book as you. It feels amazing when another person understands what you mean from the same book. If I have no idea what they say I feel more determine, so I can read through it and later talk about it with that person.

Ch 11

• Linda is ostracized, because no one wants to see an overweight older woman
• Has to take soma 24/7 and doctor gives her a month to live 
• John is good looking and hound making Bernard be less 
• Helmholtz feels sad for Bernard because he is sleeping with 2 women a day
• The report Bernard wrote to mustapha stayed that how’s isnt really feeling wonderful by the new world 
• Besides John the report is also insulting towards mustapha 

ENDGAME

i would really like to learn about the difficulties of life after high school. Like what kind of bills we have to pay, how we can apply for insurances, etc.

April 3

My work in class yesterday was terrible. I was on my phone through the time and talking. I set a goal to do the work at home,but I only got a tiny bit of it. I didn’t collaborate with anyone. I say that other people would not be amazed about my work. I feel bad about my performance yesterday.

Ch 9

• Lenina takes three grams of soma and peaces out for about eighteen hours.
• Bernard plans on how to get John and Lenina back to London
• Bernard convinces mustapha that this is a matter of "scientific interest," so he agrees to let him bring John and Linda back to London.
• John is standing outside the rest house and wondering why no one is there. He thinks he's been let down by Bernard, so John breaks in.

April 1

Many people love April fools because they get to say corny jokes. Other people dislike it because they get annoyed by it. People like to experience to  make themselves a fool at least once a year because they want to enjoy laughter. They like to put themselves in a position where they can act as fools, to get away from there boring schedules. It’s probabky the only time they can act like that.
